ON-LINE COACHING CERTIFICATION PRE-MODULES AND WORKBOOK LINKS AND INFORMATION

3) Coach Certification Workbook - An added feature to the Coaching On-Line certification program is a Coach who has completed the certification training prior to January 1, 2009 can now complete their workbook online. This covers all Community and Competitive workbooks in all disciplines. Now the Coach not only receives all the normal Coaching tools but an opportunity to by-pass all the paper trails encompassed in doing it by hard copy. The charge is $15.00 and Coaches can enroll by contacting Ross Ste.Croix at the CLA Office - ross@lacrosse.ca.

The NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program) has established an "Ethics” component for the Community Coaching stream. This program is now available online for Coaches holding a Community Development certification. At this time it is not mandatory to complete this test but it is expected within two years this will become a mandatory part of certification. You will need your NCCP number to complete the test. Coaches who have taken a clinic in the past year may not have been issued an NCCP number from the CAC (Coaches Association of Canada) yet, but should receive one in the coming months.
